Confinement

We arrived at Ama and Agon's home for a brief confinement period according to Chinese culture. Usually this lasts 1 month. And there are strict rules like no hair washing!

The photo is Joseph lying on his side using a apple patterned soft cloth that I used when I was a baby.

My way of doing it was much relaxed and slack. Mum cooked every meal. We spent time in a heat pump warmed room.

We established routine and Joseph has been a calm baby when he's not crying, an alert baby when we play with him, has decent stretches of sleep. He is most indignant when we change him! He almost always cries during a nappy change, unless we turn him onto his tummy.
